최낙중 목사

우리 최낙중 목사님의 이번 저서는 인생이 그렇게까지 고난과 아픔 고립의 끝자락까지 갈 수 있구나하는 생각에 마음을 추스를 수 없는 그런 실화에서 시작합니다. 그래서 그에게 항상 떠나지 아니하는 환한 미소와 환희의 눈매는 더 많은 설명을 필요로 하는 수수께끼입니다.

누구나 다 그렇게까지 가는 것은 아닙니다. 그러나 그 심 영혼이 불치의 상처를 받았던 이가 그만큼 반전(反轉)하여，누구도 도달하기 어려운，드높은 세계에 입성한 실록이 여기 있습니다. 그것은 그만의 벅찬 승리의 개가여서 그 우여곡절이 증언되노라 이 책은 이렇게 부피가 커졌습니다.

그리고 그런 데까지 가서 만난 하나님은 더 인자하시고 더 가깝다는 것을 쓰고 있을때，그의 글은 눈물로 조리(條理)가 허물어져，그져 큼직 큼직한 덩어리처럼 엉겨 여기저기 흩어져 있었습니다. 하지만 이 글의 장엄한 역전의 묘미는 그가 그 가없는 고난과 질병의 가시채로 몸에 찔린 채 가던 기약 없던 험로(險路)가 하나님의 지우개로 지워지더니，오히려 그 튕기는 탄력(彈方)으로 가파르게 상승(上昇)하여 눈부신 정상에 이르게 된，그 역전(편轉)의 크기에 있습니다 …  그런 것이 우리 인간의 진실이어서, 몸을 베는 듯 살을 베는 듯하여，읽다가 여러 번 목이 메였습니다. 그러니 통증이 오기 전 언제든 어디든 또 들춰보고 싶은 책입니다.

그는 이런 글을 처음 쓰신 걸로 알고 있습니다. 혼백을 다 써서，두번 다시 쓰기는 그의 기력이 감당을 하지 못할 것입니다. 글에 혼이 들어 있다더니 이런 것을 두고 하는 말인 것을 알았습니다. 이런 글로써 만이 신앙은 간증되고 독자의 심금을 타고，멀리 멀리 수(數)없는 사람의 가슴을 후비며 자국을 남기고 지나갈 것입니다.

그런 고난을 그렇게 아프게 겪고도 유머나 반색의 미소를 생전 잃지 않았던 저자는 그 반석같은 믿음으로 하나님의 사랑을 받아, 그가 섬기는 교회가 그 당대에 세계적 교회로 부상하고，그의 가솔 (家率)들이 다 당대의 유명인 명부에 등재되는 축복을 받았습니다.

이렇게 가슴 메이는 서적의 간행은 우리 신앙역사의 한 획기적 전환점을 이루는 것으로 눈부신 기념패(記念牌)를 벽에 걸어야 마땅합니다. 이제 만장하신 여러분들께서는 이 신앙고백 자서전의 새로운 장르를 우리들 신앙사의 전당(殿堂)에 올려，환난신고(德難辛苦)는 믿는 자에게는 하나님이 그 겪은 것만큼 축복하신다는 것을 직접 증언한，저자 최낙중 목사님에게 만강의 뜨거운 박수를 보내주시기 바랍니다.

Pastor Choi Nak Joong’s new book, "God's Eraser," is an autobiographical confession of faith. Humans are the most noble spiritual beings, yet they are also creations born with all the limitations of the flesh. While one may achieve the brightest successes, one must simultaneously endure difficult frustrations and failures. The greater the disparity between these extremes, the more intense the emotions it evokes in us, allowing others to resonate with our experiences and deeply feel the greatness of life.

These contrasts reveal the poignant themes of life's drama. A person who only experiences victory and carries nothing but bouquets of success throughout life has largely lost the noble spiritual greatness and joy that life offers, living instead as a withered role.

Despite enduring such painful hardships, the author never lost his humor or smile. With his rock-solid faith, he embraced God’s love, allowing the church he serves to rise as a world-renowned congregation, with his family members gaining recognition as prominent figures of their time.
